This course focuses on the three types of writing in the AP Exam’s Free Response section: synthesis, rhetorical analysis, and argument. Students learn to analyze texts, develop evidence-based arguments, and write with clarity, purpose, and style.

College Personal Statement Workshop (only offered in August and September)

This course helps students craft standout college essays by studying successful examples from past students admitted to top universities such as Harvard, Yale, and Princeton. Through guided analysis, students learn what makes a personal statement engaging, authentic, and memorable.
